Mohammed Samhouri


Dr. Mohammed Samhouri is a Palestinian economist, academic, and a former senior fellow and lecturer at Brandeis University’s Crown Center for Middle East Studies. He is also a former senior economic adviser to the Palestinian Authority. From February to October 2005, he was a member of a Palestinian technical team in charge of preparing Gaza for the day after disengagement. Dr. Samhouri is the author of the 2017 UNDP commissioned report “Beyond Survival: Challenges to Economic Recovery and Long-Term Development in the Gaza Strip”.
