Biography

Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges, U.S. Army, is head of Allied Land Command (LANDCOM), NATO's most senior land forces command, based in Izmir, Turkey. During his distinguished military career, he led the "Bastogne" Brigade in Operation Iraqi Freedom, served as director of operations for Regional Command South in Afghanistan, and held numerous other senior posts before being named to lead LANDCOM.
