Seth Jones is a political scientist at the RAND Corporation and an adjunct professor in Georgetown University's Security Studies Program. He specializes in stability operations, counterinsurgency, and counterterrorism and has worked in several conflict zones over the past several years. Most recently, he has focused on U.S. operations in Afghanistan, including the counterinsurgency campaign and efforts to rebuild the national police and army.
