Heba al-Qudsi is an Egyptian-American journalist who has served as Washington bureau chief for Asharq Al-Awsat since 2017, and previously worked for several Egyptian and Gulf publications in Egypt, Kuwait, and the UAE. She is a recipient of a UN award for best journalistic coverage of women and population conferences and contributes political and economic analysis to a number of Egyptian, Gulf, and international television networks.
