Yaakov Katz is an Israeli-American author and journalist, a senior fellow at the Jewish People Policy Institute, and the cofounder of MEAD, the Middle East-America Dialogue policy forum. Between 2016 and 2023, Yaakov was editor-in-chief of the Jerusalem Post, where he continues to serve as a columnist. His books include Shadow Strike: Inside Israel’s Secret Mission to Eliminate Syrian Nuclear Power (2019), The Weapon Wizards: How Israel Became a High-Tech Military Superpower (coauthored with Amir Bohbot, 2017), and Israel vs. Iran: The Shadow War (coauthored with Yoaz Hendel, 2011).
