Omran Salman is a writer and journalist focusing on issues of reform and enlightenment in the Arab world. Salman writes weekly for Al-Hurrah, and has worked in Arabic media for more than 25 years. In 2006, he founded and ran the "Afaq" project for reform in the Arab world. He is the author of the book, "From Religion to Spirituality" published by Dar Al-Khial in Lebanon. Salman is a contributor to Fikra Forum.​
