Mustafa Enes Esen formerly served as deputy head of mission at the Turkish embassy in Cameroon. He is currently a foreign policy analyst at the Brussels-based Institute for Diplomacy and Economy. He holds a master’s degree in Arab studies from Georgetown University, with expertise on issues such as Turkish foreign policy, the Middle East, and international security. His publications include multiple reports with the Institute for Diplomacy and Economy, such as “Electrifying Turkey’s Roads: EV Adoption Scenarios and Their Impact on Oil Imports,” “Geopolitical Constraints of Turkey’s Energy Hub Ambitions,” and “Turkey’s Growing Role in Global Cocaine Trafficking.”
