Mohammed Salih is a Senior Fellow at the Philadelphia-based Foreign Policy Research Institute and an independent researcher and consultant. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and has written for nearly two decades on Iraq, regional Kurdish affairs, and the Islamic State group for international media outlets, think tanks, and scholarly journals.
