Filip Sommer is a Ph.D. candidate at Charles University in Prague, focusing on Iraq, Syria, and the wider Middle East. He is also a director of the Prague Center for Middle East Relations (PCMR). He has previously been published in publications such as Middle East Policy and British Journal for Middle Eastern Studies.
