Zubir R. Ahmed holds a PhD in Middle East politics from the University of Exeter. He is a lecturer in the College of Political Science and International Relations at the University of Salahaddin. His areas of interest include the regional politics of Kurdish issues, Iraq, Turkey, and Syria.
