Middle East Studies at Marine Corps University has released the first volume of its MES Monograph Series, The Strategic Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran: Operational and Policy Implications, written by Michael Eisenstadt, director of The Washington Institute's Military and Security Studies Program.
The series will focus on timely subjects with strategic relevance to policy analysts and the U.S. professional military education community. The first volume is an updated version of a presentation delivered by Mr. Eisenstadt as part of the 2010-2011 MES lecture series "Framing the Iranian Challenge."
